TREES OF LIFE OR DEATH by LOUISE PAUL

In the spring of 2020, after the first Canadian lockdown, artist Louise Paul was commissioned to design a full back tattoo of a blood tree. Feeling inspired, the artist inked the first tree. She couldn’t put the pen down as it leaped from each page sketching different trees. An expression of 2020, the trees speak.
